Be aware of your thoughts! (Mind)
Pay attention to how your thoughts are affecting your attitude (Heart)
Release - take moments to sit in stillness. Even if it just a few seconds, give yourself time to release what you are thinking. (Action)
Replace what is weighing you down with a positive word. Every time that negative situation or thought comes - repeat that word in your mind to help you to be aware that you are no longer going to allow worry, frustration, anxiety, hurt, disappointment consume your mind, thoughts & energy. (Action)
Don’t let your thoughts consume you - You take charge of what you are thinking!
You might think this sounds too simplistic but these steps have helped me overcome hurts & negative thoughts that I have struggled with. BUT, you have to be patient. It is a process and takes time. Just continue to repeat these steps as many times as you need. If it is a deep hurt or thought pattern you’ve struggled with for a long period of time, don’t get discouraged because over time the thought or negative situation is truly released and won’t consume you!
